Responsibilities:
Excellent opportunity for IM Board Certified/Board Eligible Geriatrician to join an expanding medical practice providing a full continuum of geriatric services through the University of Virginia Health System. The Department of Medicine, Division of General Medicine, Geriatrics and Palliative Care seeks candidates with demonstrated experience in clinical care and a commitment to academic medicine. Interest in end-of-life care and/or long-term care welcomed. The ideal clinician-educator must have excellent interpersonal skills and a proven record of working well as a member of an interdisciplinary team. |
Qualifications:
MD or equivalent required. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine required. Geriatric Certification required or eligible to sit for qualifying examination. Review of applications will begin immediately; however, the position will remain open until filled. |
