Responsibilities:
Assistant/Associate/Professor - University of Virginia (UVa) Division of Hematology/Oncology, University of Virginia Health System, seeks applicants for a tenure track position at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent clinical research program utilizing the excellent translational research opportunities and resources available at this institution. The successful candidate will attend on inpatient and outpatient services at UVa, and will participate in multidisciplinary team care and clinical research within the Cancer Center. In addition, the successful candidate wil l participate in the teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students. The Health System offers many opportunities for collaborative clinical and basic research, an active Cancer Center Clinical Trials Program, and is an NCI-designated Clinical Cancer Center.

Qualifications:
Applicants will be MD and board certified/eligible in Medical Oncology, Hematology or Hematology/Oncology. Expertise in the care of General Medical Oncology patients with a focus on gastrointestinal, gastrourinary, thoracic malignancies, hematological malignancies, or breast cancer is preferred.
